Pump Servicing

Stuart Turner - Aqualisa - Grundfos

These pumps are fully servicable and we stock a wide range of parts should your pump need repair or you simply which to extend its lifespan.

This is particularly useful when wanting to avoid changing plumbing pipework to accommodate a new type of pump.

What happens after I purchase the servicing option?

  • We email you to request photos of the pump or aqualisa unit and details of any existing faults or intended outcomes of service
  • You pack the pump securely in a sturdy box and send us the dimensions
  • We send you a pre-paid & tracked label for Royal Mail tracked 48 (this can be printed or a QR provided which is taken to the post office who print)
  • You send the pump off to us.

What is included in the service?

  • Tracked postage to and from PelhamPumps via Royal Mail tracked 48
  • Initial mechanical and electrical testing to identify and diagnose any faults
  • Email contact to confirm if any additional parts are needed (usually discussed following inital photos)
  • Full pump dismantle, internal inspection, replacement of all O rings, acid clean
  • Acid clean of flow magnets and check of unobstructed movement
  • Electrical test of reed switch function alongside flow magnet movement
  • Final testing to check operating within manufacturer specificaiton
  • Email to confirm dispatch back with tracking code

Usually, no additional parts would be required unless a specific fault has been identified previously (feel free to email us with any repair queries). In the event any additional parts are required during service (such as a circuit board being the most expensive at £45) you will be notified prior to work starting if you wish to go ahead. If you do not, then the pump can be returned and only postage is payable (£21).
